About the Tour

Coming to Japan this Christmas? Drivers Lounge invites you to an unforgettable JDM experience, a dream come true for every Japanese sports car enthusiast.
For decades, fans have watched Best Motoring, Hot Version, and Option videos featuring one legendary name — Tsuchiya Keiichi, the Drift King. Now, this Christmas, you will have the rare chance to meet Tsuchiya-san in person and even ride alongside him in his iconic Super Mame AE86, the very same green bonnet Hachiroku seen in countless videos.
This exclusive 10 hour tour begins at the Drivers Lounge office, where you will set off in your chosen JDM sports car for a scenic drive through Chiba Prefecture, passing routes made famous by Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift and Top Gear’s R35 GT-R race.
Before lunch, we will arrive at Mobara Circuit, where you can enjoy trackside dining at the circuit café. Afterward, guests will meet Tsuchiya-san for photos and autographs, followed by a once-in-a-lifetime ride along session with the Drift King in his personal AE86 on Mobara Circuit.
After all ride sessions are complete, Tsuchiya-san will lead a parade lap around the circuit, joined by all participants in their JDM machines, a perfect ending with a commemorative group photo on the track before driving back to Drivers Lounge.
This is an all-inclusive tour, covering tolls, fuel, car rental, and guide fees. (Lunch and beverages not included.)
Please note: only the main driver will be eligible for the AE86 ride-along. Companions or additional drivers will not receive ride sessions.
There will be no competitive or high-speed circuit driving by participants.
Cars for the Tour
Our tours follow a unique and industry first Car Rotation System, allowing participants to rotate cars under the guidance of our staff, ensuring everyone gets a chance to experience different vehicles.
Please refer to the breakdown below for the cars available in your tour:
Car Allocation Based on Participants:

3 – 4 Participants: 4 cars will be allocated.

2 Participants: 3 cars will be allocated.

1 Participant: 2 cars will be allocated.
Each participant can nominate the cars they'd like to drive on the day. After registration, our team will contact you to understand your preferences and help with finalizing the lineup. However, final car allocation is subject to availability and staff discretion.
Note: Our guide will assist in rotating cars with customers when necessary, ensuring optimal driving experience.

Cars for the Tour
Kindly note that our unique Car Rotation System does not apply to this tour. However, if you are joining as a group of friends, you may swap cars within your group for an additional fee of ¥10,000 per car as a registration fee for extra driver. Please ensure prior notice is provided at least 48 hours before your tour.
* Please be aware that all cars are subject to availability on the day of your tour. In the event that your chosen car is unavailable, we will notify you. You will then have the option to select another car, reschedule your tour, or request a refund.
Itinerary
7:45 AM
Arrive at Noborito Station. Our staff will greet you outside the Ikuta Park Exit and provide a complimentary 5-minute transfer to our lounge.
8:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Arrive at the Drivers Lounge for registration and a safety briefing.
8:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Start the tour with a relaxed 1.5-hour highway drive to Chiba in order to help you get familiar with the car and local traffic conditions.
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Kick off your mountain adventure onto the Nokogiriyama Tozan Expressway, the mountain pass that was featured in Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift and Top Gear.
11:00 AM – 12:15 PM
Scenic drive through the local driving roads towards Mobara Circuit.
12:15 PM – 1:00 PM
Lunch at the circuit restaurant in Mobara Circuit.
1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Tsuchiya-san arrives in Mobara Circuit, Tsuchiya-san will meet and greet our tour participants including photo and autograph sessions.
1:30 PM - 2:00 PM
Briefing for tour participants on safety and procedures of the Ride Along experience with Tsuchiya-san.
2:00 PM - 3:30PM
Passenger ride along experience with Tsuchiya-san in his AE86 and Drivers Lounge's S2000.
3:30 PM – 4:00 PM
All participants drive a parade lap on the circuit led by Tsuchiya-san in his AE86. A group photo session will be taken on the circuit's main straight.
4:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Say goodbye to Tsuchiya-san and get ready for the drive back to Drivers Lounge.
4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Leisure drive back to Drivers Lounge Office.
