About the Tour

Daikoku Parking Area is world renowned as the ultimate car meet destination. For many enthusiasts, visiting Daikoku is a key reason for coming to Japan. So instead of showing up in a van or a bland rental car, why not arrive in a car you're genuinely excited to drive — one that belongs at the meet?

Fridays, weekends and public holidays are the best times to visit Daikoku PA, when the lot comes alive sometimes with over 100 modified cars spanning a wide range of styles and builds. Drivers Lounge offers an affordable, self-drive package that lets you experience Daikoku in true JDM fashion, without the hassle of long train rides or struggling to find parking in Central Tokyo. Our all-inclusive service means you start and finish at our convenient Kawasaki location.

Our Daikoku Sunset Cruise Tour begins at 5PM with a 15 minute relaxed evening cruise through the streets of Kawasaki, followed by a 20 minute highway drive along the Tomei Expressway and the Kanagawa section of the Shutoko. We will stop for approximately 90 minutes at Daikoku Parking Area, giving you time to stretch your legs, grab a refreshment, and immerse yourself in Japan’s vibrant car culture.

On the way back, we will make a short stop at an ENEOS gas station, a perfect photo opportunity for you and the JDM car you’re driving with the iconic ENEOS backdrop. Afterward, we will return to the Drivers Lounge office in Kawasaki.

Our Premium Class high-performance models such as the R32 GT-R, R35 GT-R, Mazda RX-7, and GR Supra are reserved for our daytime tours (e.g., Hakone to Daikoku Day Tour). However, subject to availability, you may upgrade to a Premium Class car for this tour at an additional ¥15,000. Once you have signed up, we will contact you 3 days prior to confirm availability. Upgrades are first come, first served.

One companion may ride in the car free of charge. If you're bringing more than one companion, please contact us before booking. Additional companions may ride free as well, provided that a 4-seater vehicle is available on your preferred date.

This is an all inclusive tour - tolls, fuel, car rental, and guide fees are all included.

This is a leisure-paced cruise. If you're looking for a spirited driving experience, we recommend joining our Hakone or Tsukuba daytime tours instead.

We do not stop at A-Pit or Tokyo Tower during the tour. Instead of joining a JDM tour with limited time at these locations, we recommend our customers to visit them by train so you can enjoy shopping at A-Pit and admiring Tokyo Tower at your own pace.

Our tours follow a unique and industry first Car Rotation System, allowing participants to rotate cars under the guidance of our staff, ensuring everyone gets a chance to experience different vehicles.

3 – 4 Participants: 4 cars will be allocated.
2 Participants: 3 cars will be allocated.
1 Participant: 2 cars will be allocated.

Each participant can nominate the cars they'd like to drive on the day. After registration, our team will contact you to understand your preferences and help with finalizing the lineup. However, final car allocation is subject to availability and staff discretion.

Note: Our guide will assist in rotating cars with customers when necessary, ensuring optimal driving experience.

Cars for the Tour

Kindly note that our unique Car Rotation System does not apply to this tour. However, if you are joining as a group of friends, you may swap cars within your group for an additional fee of ¥10,000 per car as a registration fee for extra driver. Please ensure prior notice is provided at least 48 hours before your tour.

* Please be aware that all cars are subject to availability on the day of your tour. In the event that your chosen car is unavailable, we will notify you. You will then have the option to select another car, reschedule your tour, or request a refund.
