About the Tour

THE G.BASE TSUKUBA TOUR WILL ONLY OPERATE ON 5 & 6 AUGUST 2026
Supported by G.base, we offer a one-of-a-kind JDM driving experience, where enthusiasts can explore legendary mountain passes carefully mapped by Team DK. These exclusive routes, known only to local drivers, provide the purest form of Japanese touge driving.
The tour begins at G.base headquarters, just 15 minutes by train from Akihabara. Here, participants can view iconic cars, including Tsuchiya Keiichi’s AE86 and others prepared by Tech-Art’s. The drive kicks off with a leisurely 1 hour cruise on the highway followed by 30 mins of local winding roads.
After an exhilarating morning of winding road driving, we visit the Honda Collection Hall* at Motegi Circuit, showcasing historic Honda masterpieces. If luck is on your side, you might even witness some live track action. We will also visit the famous Gran Turismo Cafe for lunch inside Motegi Circuit (if the cafe is not open on the day of tour, alternarive lunch arrangements will be prepared).
The adventure doesn't stop there, we head to Tsukuba’s mountain passes for more driving thrills. A large portion on mountain roads, this tour promises an unforgettable driving experience for true enthusiasts.
Tsukuba’s mountain passes have been immortalized in anime and motorsport history, notably the “God Hand” S2000 and “God Foot” R34 GT-R in Initial D. On this tour, you'll traverse their home course, Fruits Line, and encounter local drivers for a truly authentic Japanese driving atmosphere.
The Tsukuba Tour includes car swapping during the tour, you will be exchanging cars with other participants during the tour, which means you will be able to at least experience two JDM cars of your dream at one price.
*In case the Honda Collection Hall is closed for maintenance or events, additional driving routes will be arranged.
This is a all inclusive tour, all tolls, fuel, car rental cost and tour guide charges are including in the fee. However, you will need to pay for your own entry ticket, parking, lunch and beverages.

Our tours follow a unique and industry first Car Rotation System, allowing participants to rotate cars under the guidance of our staff, ensuring everyone gets a chance to experience different vehicles.

Each participant can nominate the cars they'd like to drive on the day. After registration, our team will contact you to understand your preferences and help with finalizing the lineup. However, final car allocation is subject to availability and staff discretion.
Note: Our guide will assist in rotating cars with customers when necessary, ensuring optimal driving experience.

Cars for the Tour
Kindly note that our unique Car Rotation System does not apply to this tour. However, if you are joining as a group of friends, you may swap cars within your group for an additional fee of ¥10,000 per car as a registration fee for extra driver. Please ensure prior notice is provided at least 48 hours before your tour.
* Please be aware that all cars are subject to availability on the day of your tour. In the event that your chosen car is unavailable, we will notify you. You will then have the option to select another car, reschedule your tour, or request a refund.
Itinerary
9:45 AM – 10:15 AM
Arrive at G.base for registration and a safety briefing
10:15 AM – 11:45 AM
Begin the tour with a relaxed 1 hour highway drive, followed by 30 mins of local winding roads, allowing participants to get accustomed to the cars and Japanese traffic conditions
11:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Visit the Honda Collection Hall at Motegi Circuit, where participants can explore Honda’s historical automotive achievements. If luck is on your side, you may also catch live track action at the circuit.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Enjoy a delicious lunch at the famous Gran Turismo Cafe inside Motegi Circuit. If the Gran Turismo Cafe is unavailable on the day of tour due to track events, alternative lunch arrangements at other local restaurants will be provided.
2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Drive through the spectacular touge roads of Tsukuba Mountain, meeting local drivers and experiencing some of Japan’s finest mountain passes. The route includes the home course of Initial D’s God Hand (S2000) and God Foot (R34 GT-R), featuring the legendary Mount Tsukuba “Fruits Line.”
4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Enjoy a leisurely drive back to G.base, concluding the tour with a warm cup of coffee at Hinano Café

Notes
The tour is all-inclusive, covering tolls, fuel, car rentals, and guide fees. Meals and beverages are not included.
The entry ticket (JPY 2,000 per person) and parking fee (JPY 1,000 per car) is not included in the tour, please prepare cash on the day.
